Daniels Restaurant and Catering

Daniels is one of the best Italian restaurants in the Apex area. From the moment you walk in, you’ll encounter a classic atmosphere, perfect for a date night setting. Choose from freshly sauteed pasta dishes (like Fettuccini Alfredo, Penne a la Vodka, or Chicken Parmigiana), a variety of salads and pizza, and desserts made from scratch – a popular option is the strawberry shortcake, served warm with whipped cream. One of the best things about Daniels is that you’re able to make a reservation in advance over the phone. You’re also able to order your meal online and then go pick it up.

Doherty’s Irish Pub and Restaurant

If you’re in the mood for some mouth-watering Irish cuisine, Doherty’s is the place for you. Some favorites on the menu are the Irish egg rolls, Shrimp Puppies, Brisket Poutine, Fish and Chips, plus as assortment of sandwiches, meats, and sides. Doherty’s also hosts holiday events, like the Thanksgiving Eve Party, as well as Football Sundays, World Cup, and Lunch with Santa. And, in 2021, it was rated as the Reader’s Choice award for one of the best restaurants in Wake County. Baan Thai

Baan Thai, located in the Harris Teeter plaza, off Williams Street, is one of the best authentic Thai restaurants in the Apex area. All items are prepared with the freshest ingredients, and if you’re worried about your food being too spicy, don’t be; Baan Thai offers three levels of spiciness from which to choose, so you can enjoy your meal to the fullest. You have the option to dine inside or order your meal ahead of time by either using the Door Dash app or calling the restaurant directly. Popular dishes include the Spicy Pad Thai Chantaboon, Stir Fry entrees like Chicken and vegetables, a variety of curry dishes, and noodles.

JD’s Tavern

Known as Apex’s favorite neighborhood tavern, JD’s Tavern features a fun and lively atmosphere, with great food. It’s conveniently situated on the corner of Apex Peakway and Williams Street, making it a very safe location. Favorite menu items include boneless wings tossed in almost any sauce you could want, buffalo wings, salads, burgers, pizzas, egg rolls, and more. JD’s Tavern is also a great place to go for fun events like Music Bingo Mondays from 6-8 or just for catching your favorite sports game at the bar. There’s also trivia nights on Tuesdays and Brewery Invasion Nights on Thursdays, not to mention Saturday Night karaoke from 9:30pm-1am every Saturday.
