One of the major benefits of living in Meadowmont is that it contains Meadowmont Village, which features a Harris Teeter, restaurants, cafes, fitness center, and more. This means you’ll never have to venture far from your house for anything you could possibly need. Meadowmont itself was built around a 20,000 square foot estate home called the DuBose House, which has remained at its original location since 1933 and Is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Since Meadowmont is situated between Chapel Hill and Durham, you’ll both a ton of things to do in both vibrant towns. For one, you’re only minutes from the gorgeous University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, plus you’ve got easy access to 1-40, which will take you anywhere you need to go. Downtown Durham is minutes away, with its multitude of restaurants, shops, and entertainment. And, if you don’t mind traveling a bit farther, Downtown Raleigh is also a great option, with its specialty shops, breweries, and year-round special events, if you’re looking for something to do.
